Servings: 4-6 servings
After searching on the Internet for ideas I learned that you love pork with a hint of sweetness. Mixing apple cider and white wine as a marinade gave this recipe the perfect mix of fall flavors and new ideas.
Directions
Add ½ cup of olive oil, the apple cider and white wine to a large plastic bag.
Next trim the tenderloins of fat and add place them into the plastic bag with the marinade.
Marinate for eight hours.
When the tenderloin is finished marinating remove it from the bag and pat the tenderloins dry.
Season them with salt and cracked pepper.
Preheat the oven to 350-degrees.
Heat a large oven safe braising dish with olive oil and butter.
Add the tenderloins to the pan (you may have to sear them one at a time) and sear on all sides (around 5 minutes a side).
Place the tenderloins in the oven and roast for 30 minutes.
Remove them from the oven and allow them to rest for 5 minutes.
Slice and serve the tenderloins with the roasted root vegetables.
Include your kids: This pork tenderloin is sweet and delicious and your kids will love it. To encourage eating try cutting it different ways for your kids- paper thin slices, cubes or even mach stick sized pieces.
