Figs, bacon and jalapeno

Servings: serves 3-4 | Time: 45 minutes

Figs and fig recipes are everywhere and I must admit this Fig and Jalapeño recipe is my favorite. Jalapeño can be intimidating because of its spicy nature, but don’t let it scare you from making this delicious recipe. The jalapeño offers a hint of spice paired with the saltiness of the bacon and the sweetness of the fig.

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Wash and dry the figs.
  3. Cut them in quarters.
  4. Add 1 jalapeno to each fig and then wrap each one with bacon.
  5. Place the figs on a nonstick baking sheet and 1bake for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Remove the figs from the oven and serve.
