Lemon chicken

This Lemon chicken recipe is all about lemons and chicken! It’s tangy with a hint of sweet. As always, good chicken will make this an
even better dish.
Make this dish ahead of time and keep it in the fridge to enjoy later.
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Dry the chicken breasts.
Add butter and olive oil to a large sauté pan.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
When the liquid is hot then add the chicken breasts to the pan, presentation side down.
Sear the chicken on a medium high heat for 8 minute.
Half way through cooking the chicken add the shallots, thyme and sliced lemons to the pan.
Then at 8 minutes flip the chicken and add the lemon juice and water.
Place the entire pan in the oven and cook it for 16 minutes
When the chicken has cooked through remove the chicken from the pan and place it on individual plates or a platter.
Then add the honey, thyme, butter, fresh lemon slices and parsley to the pan. Cook the sauce for 2-3 minutes and then poor it over the chicken.
Serve.
Ingredients
4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
1/3-cup fresh lemon juice, about 4 lemons
¼ cup of water
¼ cup sliced shallots
4 slices of lemons, remove the seeds
1-tablespoon butter
1-tablespoon olive oil
3/4-teaspoon salt
Cracked pepper
3 sprigs of thyme
Sauce ingredients
Remaining liquid from chicken
1 lemon, sliced into 5 circles (remove the ends and seeds)
1 tablespoon of honey
1 ½ tablespoons unsalted butter
2 sprigs of thyme
1-teaspoon flat leaf parsley, chopped
