Fried Artichokes with garlic basil aioli
Servings: 3-4 servings
Los Angeles, Ca- Fried artichokes are fun and delicious for any occasion. Most home cooks do not have a fryer, so I will teach you to make this dish by heating a sauté pan with a little oil, browning the artichokes, and baking them in the oven.
Directions
Drain the artichokes and cut into quarters.
Dip into lightly beaten eggs and toss in bread crumbs
Heat a sautee pan with canola oil and fry just til exterior begins to turn golden brown.
Cook in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes
Toss with parsley, salt, pepper and squeeze a bit of lemon over top.

1 can artichoke hearts
5 eggs lightly beaten
1 cup bread crumbs
1tbsp chopped parsley
¼ cup canola oil
1 lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
