Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Vinegar
Servings: 4 | Time: 20 minutes
Brussels sprouts get a bad reputation, but they’ve always been my FAVORITE vegetable. When roasted until golden and caramelized, they transform into something irresistible — crisp on the outside, tender inside, and full of flavor. A drizzle of balsamic vinegar takes them to the next level, adding a touch of sweetness and tang that balances their natural earthiness. The vinegar’s slight acidity brightens each bite, making even the simplest side dish taste gourmet. Whether you finish them with a splash of syrupy reduction or a sprinkle of sea salt, Brussels sprouts with balsamic are proof that simple ingredients can make magic together.
Directions
Heat a large sauté pan.
Add oil to the pan.
Place brussels sprouts cut side down in the sauté pan.
Sauté for 7 minutes or until brown.
Flip and drizzle the balsamic vinegar over the Brussels sprouts.
Cover and steam for 7 minutes or until soft.
Remove the lid and reduce the balsamic by half and season with salt.
Serve.
