Garden salad

This salad is so simple why do you need a recipe, right? Well because

sometimes, even simple is necessary when you’re tired and over worked. This salad is very versatile; you can add avocado or change up the dressing to thousand island or green goddess.

 

Directions

  1. In a large bowl combine the lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, bell peppers, green onions and sunflower seeds.
  2. Toss everything together.
  3. Next add the ranch dressing and continue to toss everything.
  4. Crack fresh ground pepper and season the salt with salt and toss again.
  5. Serve.

 

Ingredients

2 cups romaine, chopped

¼ cup carrot chips

¼ cup of Persian cucumbers, halved and sliced

¼ cup red bell peppers, cut into 1” slices

1 tablespoon sunflower seeds, toasted

1 green onion, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons ranch dressing

Salt and pepper
