Get Messy, Get Cooking at KCC!

Your 9 to 12-year-olds will love cooking in the kitchen with Chef Mary. Your kids will get to make homemade pasta, street tacos with homemade tortillas, make bread from scratch and will use it to create amazing paninis, chicken pot pie with homemade piecrust and lastly baked donuts galore! We’ll also cover table manners, cooking techniques and how to clean as you go. 

Camp runs from 8:30 am-12 pm Monday – Friday the week of August 2nd-6th . Each child will bring home what they cook! 
*Please note: This series is only available as a  five-day series. No single day enrollments.


Day 1: Street Tacos

  • Homemade flour tortillas
  • Steak tacos
  • Guacamole and salsa

Day 2: Pasta Night

  • Homemade Pasta
  • Fettuccini Alfredo 
  • Tomato and basil sauce

Day 3: Sourdough bread

  • Homemade bread
  • Pesto and sundried tomato sauce
  • Paninis Galore!

Day 4: Chicken Pot Pie

  • Pie crust
  • Chicken pot pie
  • Cinnamon sugar twists

Day 5: Donuts, Donuts, Donuts!

  • Baked Donuts
  • Fried Donuts
  • Decorating extravaganza 

Date: August 2nd-6th Time: 8:30 am – 12 pm Age Range: Ages 9-12    Min.6 kids & Max: 8 kids

Fees/Payment: $295.00 Per child/5 days (Mon.-Fri.) Includes all cooking materials, does not include apron. 

Pick up and Drop off: We allow for a 10-minute grace period without penalty, but please be on time.

COVID-19: COVID-19 is with us for the foreseeable future and Kid’s at Work will open and follow the public health experts. We have based our plan on recommendations from the California Department of Public Health. More to information to come as we move closer to the date.
