Asparagus for Easter

Asparagus is a perfect side dish for Easter for mostly because I love it, and I said so. No really it is great regardless if I say so.

Asparagus is a great vegetable to include in your Easter brunch for a variety of reasons. Not only is it a delicious and healthy addition to your meal, but it also pairs well with many classic brunch dishes.

The main reason why asparagus is a great addition to your Easter brunch is its versatility and availability. The warmer weather is just right for these delicious spears.

There are a few choices when it comes to asparagus- thin spears, medium spears, fat spears, green, white, and purple, yes purple. While I typically go for medium spears I can find unique ways to use all the different sizes and colors.

It can be served in a variety of ways, from grilled (fat spears are best) or roasted (thin spears) to steamed or sautéed. Asparagus also pairs well with a variety of flavors, including citrus, garlic, and herbs like thyme and rosemary.

If you’re looking for specific dishes to incorporate asparagus into your Easter brunch, there are plenty of options. One classic dish is an asparagus quiche, which combines the vegetable with eggs and cheese for a savory and filling meal.

Asparagus can also be served as a side dish, such as grilled asparagus with lemon and parmesan or roasted asparagus with garlic and herbs.

Overall, asparagus is a perfect addition to any Easter brunch. Its versatile, and delicious flavor make it a great choice for any meal. So why not incorporate this tasty and healthy vegetable into your Easter brunch this year?
