Traditional beef lasagna

Delicious traditional beef lasagna. Perfect for now, later or next week. If you don’t want to eat immediately, portion it out, wrap it up, label and freeze it.

Directions

  • Cook ground beef to a golden brown color and set aside for later use.
  • Sweat onion then add tomato puree, basil, carrots, garlic powder, and oregano.
  • Let simmer then puree.
  • In a baking dish, layer 1/3rd of lasagna noodles, cooked beef, sauce and chesses.
  • Repeat layers twice
  • Bake covered at 350° oven for 45 min then uncover for 10 minutes.
  • Let stand for 8 to 10 minutes before cutting and serving
