Roasted dates and goat cheese

Roasted dates wrapped in bacon and stuffed with goat cheese should be a sin it’s so good, but thankfully it’s not: so make them, eat them and serve them!

Directions:

  • Slice the dates from top to bottom but not all the way through.
  • Stuff them with softened goat cheese.
  • Slice the bacon into
  • Wrap them in bacon, this should use only about 2-3 ” of bacon per date.
  • Once all of the dates have been wrapped bake them at 325 for 15-20 minutes.
  • Keep a close eye they can sometimes caramelize too much with all the sugar.
  • Let them cool for 5 minutes and then serve.
