These are rich thick brownies and that would be great for any occasion and would be incredible with Vanilla ice cream or a cold glass of milk (not that I’m going to drink milk with it). Enjoy and make sure you bake enough for your friends.
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Soften 1¼ sticks of butter and add it to a large mixing bowl.
- Add the sugar to the bowl and cream the sugar with the butter for 2-3 minutes.
- In a microwavable bowl melt the remaining butter with the chocolate chips (microwave at 10 second intervals until it’s mixed and make sure you mix the chocolate and butter well in-between each interval)
- Add the eggs and vanilla into the butter and sugar.
- Mix well.
- Slowly add the egg mixture into the chocolate and butter mixture, stir well.
- Once everything is mixed add the flour, salt and baking powder.
- Spray a 9×3 Pyrex pan.
- Bake in the oven for 42 minutes.
- Cool and cut.
