Grilled steak with blue cheese

(c) 2015 HMFG copyright

Steaks are an easy protein to fix because there is little to no effort needed, but that being said we are always looking to spruce up the old faithful. Try adding a great blue cheese to the top to give it an extra bold salty flavor with a hint of creaminess to make our grilled steak with blue cheese.

Directions

  1. In a cast iron grill pan heat to a very high heat.
  2. Remove the steak from packaging and season it with the salt and cracked pepper on both sides.
  3. Rub the steak with olive oil (the oil should be lightly covering the steak and NOT dripping).
  4. Place the steak onto the grill and grill it for 7 minutes each sides for a medium rare.
  5. When there is 2 minutes left on the last side add the Stilton and allow it to melt and if some falls onto the grill it’s ok.
  6. Let the steak rest for 10 minutes and then serve.
