Football games are incomplete without delicious wings, and though I love wings, I do not love the greasy mess that comes with them. I developed this recipe for wings when I did not have a fryer, and I was looking for a different version of these delicious half time favorites.
Directions:
Rinse your chicken breasts with cold water. Place them on a plastic cutting board and cut the fat off (for the purpose of maximizing your kitchen prepare the vegetables before the chicken). Cut the chicken breasts into cubes, season with salt and pepper.
Then add a tablespoon of oil and a handful of chicken at a time to a large sauté pan. Sauté the chicken pieces until they are golden brown on all sides. Remove them from the pan and repeat this process with the rest of the chicken. Once all of the chicken is golden brown, put them all back in the pan, pour hot sauce over the chicken, and butter. Make sure all of the chicken is covered then simmer for 5 minutes.
Serve with blue cheese sauce, carrots and celery sticks.
